CRUISIN'
Words and Music by Danny Oertli ' 3/92
Cruisin' down the highway with the wind in my hair
I got the radio on and I don't have a care
I don't know where I'm goin' but I know where I've been
but one thing is for sure I'll go with Him.
The place I was before, hadn't been there very long
I tried to talk to people, tried to sing them my song
I tried to tell them all, just the way that it would be
If they would open their eyes to Jesus so they could see.
So I sing to one and all, won't you come with me
And I sing to one and all of His praise
cause we can be one and all forever in His service
And forever in His service I will be.
I once heard of a man, did the same thing as me
A long time ago on the shores of Galilee
He spoke unto the people in a loud, clear voice
and he said you can come with me, you have the choice.
Now everyone heard but not many moved
Afraid of the things they might have to do
But then out of the crowd came a few strong men
They packed up their gear and said I'm gonna go with Him.
Now I know that we all have plans before us
For the future and today
But what I ask is does it really matter
what's accomplished here on earth anyway
Well the top is down and the radio's on
I'm a cruisin' down the highway, just a singin' my song
I don't know where I'm goin' but I know where I've been
And one thing is for sure I'll go with Him.
