Song Lyrics

"Mended Vessel (Live)"

by Greg Coleman
Album: Show Me the Way to Calvary (Live)

Even though, I have faith to speak to the mountain, and cast them all away into the deepest sea He made.
And confess the greatest hope, for to be all I can be, I had to learn in falling, that the greatest is charity.
I’d rather be a broken vessel mended and healed, than a beautiful vase unwilling to yield.
Though you see my scars from falling, I’m ashamed they have to be, but the treasure within the vessel, is what the potter sees.
If we fall from the place that the potter has put us, and we lose the place the soil that he gave, the shine to the world he made, and with hands of love Jesus picks us up.
And with the warm wax of his spirit he seals the cracks then puts us back, to place where he can use us.
I’d rather be a broken vessel mended and healed, than a beautiful vase unwilling to
yield.
Though you see my scars from falling, I’m ashamed they have to be, but the treasure within the vessel, is what the potter sees.
I’d rather be a broken vessel mended and healed (yes I would), than a beautiful vase unwilling to yield.
Though you see my scars from falling, I’m ashamed they have to be, but the treasure within the vessel, is what the Potter see, but the treasure within the vessel, is what the Potter sees.
