well...
...got up Monday morning...
I must admit I wasn't very motivated
my attitude, it needed serious adjustment
(and I do mean serious!)

Jesus, You helped me yesterday...
here it is... today!
here it is... today, I need Your help again
here it is... today!
and I need You...
again...

...looked outside the window...
the sun was shinnin'
burnin' brightly in my view
burnin' brightly, burnin' bright
the rain was gone
and the birds were singin' their own tune
yeah... their own tune...

Jesus, You helped me yesterday...
Here it is... today!
Here it is... today, I need Your help again
Here it is.. today!
and I need You...
again...

does Jesus care
when my soul is achin'
when I just feel so wrong
as the burdens press
and the cares distress
and the way grows weary
