The First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection ~ “Mary
Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
An angel appeared and said, ‘Do not be afraid! I know
that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here,
for He has been raised just as He said.’” (Mt 28:1-10)
We pray for the virtue of hope. With Mary, we patiently
wait through any dark night of loneliness, confusion and
threatening despair, knowing that Christ’s light will shine
in our lives again with resurrected joy!

to the senses, we believe that God is always alive in
hearts that love Him and desire to live for, with and
through Him!

~ Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them,
“Peace be with you. Receive the Holy Spirit.” (Jn 14:15-21)
We pray for the virtue of charity. This mystery of
the rosary reveals the face of the Church as a family
gathered together in the protective presence of Mother
Mary, accepting all the gifts the Holy Spirit wishes to
bestow continually upon us.

The Fourth Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Our Lady
into Heaven ~ “Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved
free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her
earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul
into heavenly glory” (Munificentissimus Deus (1950):
DS 3903).
We pray for the virtue of union with Christ. Mary, as
the greatest human person God will ever create, led
the way in showing us our final and eternal union
with her Son in Heaven.

The Fifth Glorious Mystery: The Coronation of the Blessed
Virgin Mary ~ “We believe that the Holy Mother of God,
the new Eve, Mother of the Church, continues in heaven
to exercise her maternal role on behalf of the members of
Christ.” (Solemn Profession of Faith: Credo of the
People of God)
We pray for the virtue of union with Mary. Mary is
crowned Queen of Heaven and earth. Thus she is Queen
of all! And beyond this title, in the words of St. Theresa
of the Child Jesus, Mary is more Mother than Queen
because she loves each of us with the devotion only
a mother’s heart knows.
