Song Lyrics

"Falls Apart Thousand Foot Krutch"

by Various Artists - General Miscellaneous
Album: Moms Like Us Too V1 DVD

This world has taken me by storm,
It makes me feel like running,
This place is making me transform,
Until I feel like nothing/

It's the strength in you and me,
'that surrounds everything,
The way you look out for me, the way you burn'/

Chorus/
It's the flame, in all of us, the same,
That makes us feel this/
Flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us feel it/

We are the youth, of yesterday,
We've brought you pain and sorrow,
That's what they say, but they paved the way,
We are the new tomorrow/

It's the strength in you and me,
'that surrounds everything,
The way you look out for me, the way you burn'/

It's the flame, in all of us, the same,
That makes us feel this/
Flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us/
It's the flame, in all of us, the same,
That makes us feel this/
Flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us feel it/

Bridge/ It's the flame in all of us that makes,
The change in all of us, that takes,
The blame in all of us,(yeah),
And still keeps it alive/(X2)

Behind the Song:
"This one (title track) is talking about the common thread we share of "Who Am I' Why Am I Here'' and the burning race of trying to find the answers to those questions. To me, it also represents something else. I feel that what we do in it's form and fashion, is every bit as much worship as a Chris Tomlin, or a Matt Redman, we believe the same things, do what we do for the same reasons, and love the same God. So we'll encourage them to continue doing things the way God's lead them to, and we'll continue doing the same." - Trevor McNevan (Thousand Foot Krutch)
