One day I heard a woman speak about where we've all gone wrong
She said that we possessed the key
Told me about inner strength and how peace could be achieved
All of the answers were in me
Well I don't know but something must be wrong
I see her lips move but I cannot hear her song

I don't know how, the Lord could love me so

My God is greater than me

I went up to college to see what life's about
To ask the teacher about God
He said that years of research have led him to believe
That my savior is a fraud
His philosophy was livin' day to day
And that religion would only get in his way
