I'VE HAD ENOUGH

Well I was drivin' to school you know it isn't that far
But the bus isn't cool I drive my own car
Got the radio on and I was feeling allright
When I saw car stoppin' up ahead of the light
It was a little Chevette I think the color was green
It had a bumper sticker that I wish I'd never seen
It said "honk if you love Jesus"
I was bored so I said I'll try it here's one for the Lord

I think the driver was a little upset
I couldn't hear him at all but I could tell what he said
I guess he must have forgot the bumper sticker behind him
I hit the horn again to try and remind him
And then he really got mad I think he wanted to fight
I locked the door real quick and then I looked at the light
It was already green and I was already late
Then I got it- no fight- he was makin' me wait

I've had enough of this religious stuff
I've had enough leave me alone
I've had enough of your hypocrisy
So don't sell it to me
I've had enough

I saw alot of that sticker we were there for awhile
And then he drove real slow for a couple of miles
I finally made it to school but I learned there and then
Maybe Jesus is cool sometimes I don't like his friends

I've had enough of this religious stuff
I've had enough leave me alone
I've had enough of your hypocrisy
So don't sell it to me
