Walking down the street, everything is dim


Everything I see and that which is within


And looking at the grass, which should be growing green


I find that it is gray, or that is how it seems





There is something missing in my life


There has to be something to help with my strife


Only you can make me healthy


Lord restore the vibrance within me





But in the corner of my eye, a light I start to see


That which comes together and that I wish to be


Turn to look, at the light, but once my eyes face it


The brightness in peripheral, I still seem to chase it
